Post Roe v. Wade Update

Dear Friends of Life,

As most of you know, abortion is now illegal in Louisiana. The courts will be battling for a few more weeks, but we know that eventually all life will be protected in our state. We are excited to move forward in this Post Roe age. Because abortion is no longer a legal option for women in Louisiana, we expect to see an increase in the number of women who feel they have no answers, no choices to their unplanned pregnancy.

For many years the dedicated staff and volunteers at the Pregnancy Problem Center have helped women through difficult times, giving hope and love to families, and developing lasting relationships with many of them. We treasure the gift of their trust in us to walk this walk with them. With your generous support we have been able to help each woman who comes to us with a free pregnancy test and ultrasound. Many times, these mothers choose to return and attend prenatal classes and earn “Baby Bucks” to purchase items from our Mom and Me shop. Through discussion, education, and discernment, we help guide their steps on the path to a healthy and hopeful life.

Because of your generosity, we were able to increase our staff, giving way to see more women and increase our effectiveness. It is only with your continued support that we can move forward in expanding our resources and continuing the work that is such a tremendous blessing to all of us.
